I think I am done with painting at least for the foreseeable future. These past 2 1/2 years I’ve tried different subject matter (the trees) and went back to the female figure. It is no longer  working for me. Not the subject nor the paint. SO, I’m going to work on drawing, pastels and charcoal, pencils. It is what I used prior to going to study at the college level. I can fiddle around, not worrying if its going to work or not. I may even do some actual studies of still lifes, not sure, I just need to drop the brush and pick up the charcoal, the pastel once again and see how it goes.
